The benefits for being a member of the Valley Industrial Claims Association are many, below are a few:

 

Monthly Luncheons:  The second Tuesday of each month, we provide the best speakers to include professionals from the legal, judicial, medical and claims handling community.

 

Annual Education Seminar:  Our goal is to provide up to date comprehensive training to the community and for the 2011 year we are planning a full day event with an all star line up of industry experts.

 

Annual Crab Feed:  By far our most popular event with over 500 in attendance this year!  Lots of crab and lots prizes. Save the date as we have already booked the event to take place on February 18, 2011. 

 

Annual Glow Bowling: Dust off your shoes and grab your ball for a grand time bowling by black light.  Another popular social event not to be missed planned for July 2011.

 

Annual Golf Tournament:  A Superior event with original themes, a perfect venue, contests, prizes and much much more! This past September the event took place at Timber Creek Golf Course in Rocklin, it was a beautiful day and a great time had by all. In 2011 we plan on the same time of year.

 

Annual Holiday Party: Held in late November and at the SOCIAL NIGHTCLUB in Downtown Sacramento for the first time in 2010. We offer an affordable, casual Holiday event with food, music and spectacular door prizes.

 

Our educational activities will be certified by the appropriate agencies for continuing Education credits (CEU’s & MCLE’s) for continuing education credits for both claims handling and legal education. VICA remains committed to providing these activities to our members for our collective benefit.   

 

Additionally, our social events will continue to bring the community together in spirit and provide needed relief from the workday.

  

VICA will continue charitable efforts in 2011. With your continued support, we will continue to support the VICA Scholarship Program with California State University - Sacramento.  In addition, we will continue our efforts to support other deserving charities through our donation and collection efforts at our social events.

 

VICA welcomes interested members to volunteer on our various sub committees for the benefit and opportunity to make our organization even stronger.
